Is your Christianity Hidden?

“Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his window being opened in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime,” Daniel 6:10.

Is your Christianity hidden? This is the question I am asking you today. Even though Daniel knew there was a target on his back and a decree was signed, he still prayed 3 times a day. Would you have done the same? The Bible tells us that Daniel was preferred above all the presidents and princes because of the excellent Spirit in him, verse 3.

We have that same excellent Spirit but it’s accessed through faith. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of ourselves: it is the gift of God,” Ephesians 2:8. The faith that Daniel had caused him to believe that irrespective of what the king does, God would come through for him. Satan has plans, set up schemes and devices to derail us from God’s will for our lives. Are we willing to wait to see it comes to fruition? The power of God was not seen until Daniel was thrown into the lion’s den.

God’s Church is packed with Power but are we accessing and utilizing this Power? I have heard people say, the Church has become stagnant. Is it because we want to help God instead of having faith in God? The miracle was not completed at the lion’s den but when King Darius made another decree, recognizing Daniel’s God as the true God, Daniel 6:25-26. Don’t stop at the lion’s den, we will even change decrees.
