Is there anything too hard for God?
We quote these words from the Bible so often but do we really believe them, truly believe them? What would Christianity look like, if this statement was true for us 80% of the time? How evident would the powers of our Lord be in the Churches when we come together? In Luke 9, Jesus gave the disciples power and authority to preach and to heal the sick. On their return in verse 10, the apostles told Jesus all they had done.
These very same words were mentioned in Jeremiah 32 twice, verse 17 in the form of a statement and in verse 27, as a question. God’s power is supreme and is able to achieve what people deem impossible. It is through His divine power, expressed through the words He spoke, that the world came into being.
I thought of God’s supreme power and I liken it to gasoline sold at the gas station. Supreme gas or premium gas, is the highest grade of octane fuel and is designed for high performance in vehicles. Luxury vehicles are designed with a higher compression engine and supreme fuel is needed to operate it. Based on this design, we believe that supreme gas will maintain the performance of these vehicles.
Saints of God, we must believe by faith that, “…. with God nothing shall be impossible,” Luke 1:37. We need fuel to maintain the spiritual activity in our temple. Not just any fuel but the highest efficiency fuel, faith. Without this supreme fuel, we will lack the belief that our God is able, irrespective of how impossible things look. As Jeremiah said in Jeremiah 32:17, “there is nothing too hard for thee.”
God Bless.
