Hope in God, he will not make you ashamed

Good morning again dearest friends

These are perilous times

These are times where much troubles and trials surround us and it just doesn't help that we have an invisible enemy who will buffet our souls. I have seen references of that word used in the Bible and finally decided to look up that word.

Here is the meaning:

To affect as with blows; to strike repeatedly; to strive with or contend against; as, to buffet the billows.

In simplified terms it means to attempt to weary someone.

Life can be tough.

But what do we do?

Hope in God!

He will never make us ashamed

Listen to these words on Hope

Faith brings Joy

Therefore, since we have been made right in God’s sight by faith, we have peace[a] with God because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us. Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.

We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. 5 And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love

Has God ever disappointed you? No never.

He may have told us no at times and looking back as I have now grown in God, I realise the times God told me no, they were very good answers. I did ask amiss in my baby stages and even now I wonder, how could I have prayed those fleshly prayers. Trust our good Father because he really knows best.

Now how do we get through these tough times

  1. Begin with hope and trust in God. Ask him to give us the measure of faith we need

  2. Gain strength and grace from abiding in God's presence

  3. Be assured that God will never leave you nor forsake you, though he may be silent, he shepherds us well. Leading us down the pathway of righteousness (sometimes with much resistance and wandering as sheep will do)

  4. Stand on his promises.

  5. Remind yourself of all the things God has delivered you from. Count your blessings

  6. Depend on him for all, he will provide our needs according to his riches in glory.

  7. There is always something to look forward to in God. Put on the mind of Christ and take our thoughts captive to his obedience. Our perspective (the way we think on and view things, life and situations) makes a big difference. If we keep focusing on the past with it's negatives or the troubles which surround us, we will faint. We need to meditate on God's word

Hope in God friends he will not make you ashamed

Psalm 34

I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul makes its boast in the Lord; The humble and downtrodden will hear it and rejoice.O [a]magnify the Lord with me,And let us lift up His name together.I sought the Lord [on the authority of His word], and He answered me,And delivered me from all my fears.5 They looked to Him and were radiant;Their faces will never blush in shame or confusion.6 This poor man cried, and the Lord heard himAnd saved him from all his troubles

God will deliver you. He will make your face radiant. Hope in him

Walk good in Christ

Till we meet again
