Deliverance 101 PART III Deliverance simplified: Why deliverance?

Updated: Aug 13

Good morning beloved

There is so much taboo about the ministry of deliverance, this ministry is where the enemy is exposed and dealt with ie bound and cast out and it begins with repentance.

Deliverance is simply taking "ground" back from the enemy. I do not agree with the description of "possession" when the enemy's works are described concerning individuals as, Satan can own nothing on the earth, all his activity is temporary.

The word of the Lord in Psalm 24:1 says:

The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof and all they that dwell in it. We focus so much on the temperoral, but all that happens on this earth is working for a far greater Eternal purpose.

Now let's get clarity as to "Why Deliverance?"

At the time of Salvation (when one accepts Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour) the Spirit man becomes regenerated and connected to the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will do a work of conviction, teaching, helping and so much more, but there is something we must do after salvation and that is we have to "work out" our salvation

Phillipians 2

12 So then, my dear ones, just as you have always obeyed [my instructions with enthusiasm], not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence, continue to work out your salvation [that is, cultivate it, bring it to full effect, actively pursue spiritual maturity] with awe-inspired fear and trembling [using serious caution and critical self-evaluation to avoid anything that might offend God or discredit the name of Christ]. 13 For it is [not your strength, but it is] [c]God who is effectively at work in you, both to will and to work [that is, strengthening, energizing, and creating in you the longing and the ability to fulfill your purpose] for His good pleasure.

What does working out mean?

Our Spirit man is renewed but we need to deal with what is happening in our souls.

Whatever dictated our thinking, our choices and our emotions before coming into Christ has to be dealt with.

These are areas governed by the soul as we are tripartite beings (we have a Spirit, A soul and a physical body). Satan is known as the Enemy of our souls and whenever someone has a demon Spirit occupying the temple it is in the soul dimension. Many of us have areas that are being governed by a force dictating principles that are the total opposite of God’s word. But we may believe it is normal and may not be even able to see truth as "something" is blocking us from seeing truth. These are strongholds and who do you think governs these areas my friends?

This question is especially submitted to those who do not believe a Christian can be influenced by demons.

It is the devil and his demons that are directly these areas that oppose God's truth and we all do not see truth, that is why we need to allow the Holy Spirit to do the deep work of sanctification, purification and consecration in us.

Jesus proactively did the Ministry of Deliverance, he confronted those devils and demons and bound and cast them out. We need to do the same. One is missing out on true freedom if deliverance is not administered.

In Luke 13 the account is given of a Daughter of Abraham who was delivered of a Spirit of Infirmity which she had for 18 years. A Daughter of Abraham means she was a Woman of Faith.

God wants you to come into knowledge so you can come into true freedom and liberty and walk in the fullness of his glory and blessings.

As I am led some of you may need deliverance from these Spirits and it may be no fault of your own. This might be influenced by Generational or Ancestral sins or come about by traumatic events during your lifetime.

Here is the list

A Spirit of Rejection - will block one from receiving the fullness of God's love and having whole relationships.

A Spirit of Fear - will block you from accomplishing your destiny and purpose

A Spirit of Depression - will encloak you with heaviness.

The list goes on and on

These are just a few to mention

If you need help please do feel free to contact me.

I really want to see you fulfilling your God given purpose and walking in true freedom and liberty.

Amen

Walk good in Christ

Till we meet again

Pastor J
