Cast your care upon the Lord

Good morning my friends

Well I just want to confess Friday I got worried about a really silly thing. I booked my cake delivery with Global Parcel force waited waited waited. Didn't see them coming around noon I called and the young lady apologetically told me sorry we can't give you a time but anytime up till 6pm.

Oh dear a whole day lost and I had so many things to do on the road. Worried "suppose" they didn't come and I guaranteed the customer a certain delivery date and it was their first time order.

Finally, I stood still, prayed and I heard the still small voice of God whispering these words:

"Do not be anxious for anything!

Cast your cares upon me

I take good care of you!"

Well that settled it and restored my peace.

I thought of three things about worry and anxiety.

1 Worry and anxiety are arms attached to fear. We need to recognize fear when it comes, face it and deal with it or it will definitely have a domino effect in one's life. The first step in dealing with fear is recognizing where it comes from. Is this experiencial fear or just our imagination? My fear was experiential as it came from a real experience I had had with the postal company before.

2 Remember how many things God has brought us through, there is always a solution to our problems and it's found IN HIM.

3 Chose not to stay in the place of fear, anxiety or worry - learn to cast your cares upon the Lord, he cares for you. He will only work on what you leave in his hands. Anything we work on he waits for us to give it to him

4 We must take authority over our thoughts each day, take them captive to the obedience of the Lord or else the enemy wins the battle. Whatever we think on we become and what we think on takes root in our heart. Whatever takes room in our heart, we then begin to speak it and it will then have power.

If we learn to take authority over fear then my friends I tell you we walk on the pathway of Victory

We walk good in Christ

Because we walk by faith and not by sight

Amen

Abbah Father

I pray you will deliver us of ALL fear, keep our eyes fixed and focused on you Lord. You have not given us a Spirit of fear, but of power of love and a sound mind

Amen

Walk good in Christ

Till we meet again
