Be Fully Committed

“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things to come. Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord,” Romans 8:38-39.

As I sat down to write this inspiration, our weekly prayer meeting got started. With no inclination of what I am writing, Pastor Jackie spoke of us recommitting our life to God. She led us through a prayer of full recommission. He’s awesome!

In verse 37, the Apostle Paul felt it necessary to tell us that we are conquerors through Him that loved us. Through salvation we are given the blessed assurance that we are conquerors of death, life, angels, principalities, powers, things that’s coming, height, depth and creatures. With this knowledge, are you fully committed? Being fully committed takes much sacrifice but be ye committed to God.

Being fully committed is being always in love with God and our neighbors. It means our action should reflect the fruit of the Spirit. It means that everyday we most walk by faith and in the will of God. 1 Kings 8:61 (NIV), “But your hearts must be fully committed to the Lord our God, to live by His decrees and obey His commands, as at this time.”

I confess today that I am fully committed to God through Jesus Christ my Lord, what about you?
