Arise and Rebuild by Jacqueline and Marcel Bruff

Arise And Rebuild.

The themes of restoration, rebuild, and redemption are found throughout Scripture.

In the face of adversity, believers in God are called to rise above their circumstances, trusting in God's sovereignty and promises.

The Bible is a book of restoration and redemption with calls to arise and rebuild. In Nehemiah 2:17. Nehemiah's courageous leadership as he rallied the people to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem, despite opposition and challenges.

This story serves as a reminder of the importance of community, perseverance, and faith in the rebuilding process.

God's Promise of Restoration

In Jeremiah 30:17, God declares, "For I will restore health to you and heal you of your wounds." This promise underscores God's desire to restore and rebuild His people, bringing healing and wholeness to those who trust in Him.

Faith plays a crucial role in the process of arising and rebuilding. Hebrews 11:1 defines faith as "the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." It is this faith that enables believers to trust God's promises, even when circumstances seem insurmountable.

Practical Applications

1. Prayer and Reflection- Spend time in prayer, seeking God's guidance and wisdom as you navigate challenges.

2. Church Support- Engage with your church community or support group, encouraging one another and working together towards restoration.

3. Service to Others. Look for opportunities to serve others, using your gifts and talents to build up those around you.

4. Personal Growth. Invest in your personal growth through Bible study, mentorship, and skill development.

Conclusion

Brothers and sisters, the call for 2026 "Arise And Rebuild" is not just a call to action; it's a declaration of faith in God's power to restore and renew. As Christians, we are reminded that "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13).

Let us rise with hope and rebuild with faith, trusting in the God who makes all things new (Revelation 21:5).

Reflection

Take a moment to reflect on the storms in your life. How have you been flexing and adapting? Where do you need to deepen your roots and trust in God's sovereignty? What steps can you take today to arise and rebuild in your own life?

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts that long to arise and rebuild. Give us the strength to stand firm in the face of adversity, and the wisdom to know how to flex and adapt. Help us to trust in Your promises and to lean on Your everlasting arms. May Your Spirit guide us as we seek to serve others and grow in our faith. In Jesus' name, Amen.
