About Vision and Purpose

Good morning friends

I am led to speak to you about vision and purpose today

Vision is the Revelation of what God called us into. Vision moves us into and leads us in the direction of that special purpose he created us for from the beginning of time.

A lack of  vision and direction leads to aimless wandering

When God called the Great Patriachs of the Bible

He SPOKE OF something great and they agreed with God and moved in that direction, leaving behind anything that was not God's will

Psalm 139 states clearly

God formed us and all our days were written in his books

God has good plans for us

He didn't save us to destroy us

He didn't save us for failure, lack or less than

God saved us to enrich and empower us,

For us to live the life more abundantly

To live in purpose on purpose

To walk in destiny

TO WALK GOOD IN CHRIST

This chapter with these specific verses came to mind this morning.

Ephesians 3:20/21

20 Now to Him who is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly more than all that we dare ask or think [infinitely beyond our greatest prayers, hopes, or dreams], according to His power that is at work within us, 21 to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen.

Please read the above verses in the chapter it speaks about being rooted and grounded in God's love ....because that is where it all begins.

Now HOW DO WE COME INTO ALL GOD SAID? We must position ourselves and constantly be moving forward

We can be moving in three directions

The first looking back - imagine trying to move forward (into all God promised) with our eyes fixed and focused behind. It is an unnatural positioning. Yet this is what many of us are doing spiritually. We remain "bound with chains" per say. To a time that is already gone. To a time that cannot be changed.

The second would be standing stationary - a place where patterns have been established - the same old, the same old.

The third would be moving forward with steps of faith in Christ - unrestrained by natural circumstances defying all natural law at times, because this is the place of the miraculous just because we are walking good in Christ. This place God is leading and guiding us - we have surrendered all, yielded our all to him and he clears the way along that path of righteousness.

Ohh we just cleave to and depend on him wholeheartedly - trusting and obeying.

GOD MADE US WITH OUR FACES FACING FORWARD

because that is the direction we should be moving all our life both naturally and spiritually

Here is what the Apostle Paul says

Phillipians 3:12 - 14 Amplified

12 Not that I have already obtained it [this goal of being Christlike] or have already been made perfect, but I actively press on [e]so that I may take hold of that [perfection] for which Christ Jesus took hold of me and made me His own. 13 [f]Brothers and sisters, I do not consider that I have made it my own yet; but one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, 14 I press on toward the goal to win the [heavenly] prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus

The word pressing is used instead of walking and it implies it takes great effort.

I believe it indicates we cannot do this in our own natural strength but in God and with God - WE CAN!

We must forget those things that are behind

Now here is what I wish to talk about today

Paul has something to press forward to a goal

We must have goals lined up to God’s plans for our life.

God always has good plans for our life. How do we come into them?

First we need to know what he is saying to and about us. Wait in his presence for Revelation.

I GUARANTEE YOU WHEN GOD SPEAKS TO YOU ABOUT PURPOSE OR DESTINY. IT WILL CHALLENGE YOU! Because that way he will get the greatest glory or some of us would probably say we did it in our own strength.

God is taking us into a place of the exceedingly abundantly above all we could ask or even imagine. He is taking us into a place where our cups will overflow. Why?

He just doesn't bless us individually with enough he enables us to proliferate the Kingdom.

Proliferate means to grow, spread, or increase rapidly and excessively in number or amount

How do we come into the place of the life more abundantly?

After you get the Revelation of Purpose and Destiny

Then write it

Habbakuk 2:2/3

Then the Lord answered me and said,

Write the vision

And engrave it plainly on [clay] tablets

So that the one who reads it will run.

3 "For the vision is yet for the appointed [future] time

It hurries toward the goal [of fulfillment]; it will not fail.

Even though it delays, wait [patiently] for it,

Because it will certainly come; it will not delay.

Write the vision on paper

Ask God to imprint it in your heart and mind and most of all LIVE IT!

Live as if it is already done

Make choices to prepare for it

Give (sow seeds) into it

Water it with prayer

Water it with FAITH

Live in expectancy of the fulfillment of it

Make decisions and adjustments daily to align yourself with heaven

GOD WILL DO IT!

Some call me a visionary ....I just smile

Why? All I do is believe God unconditionally

Fight for what God said until it is accomplished

GREAT GIGANTIC CHALLENGES

Along the way yes!

But I have a made-up mind God's will

will be done and he WILL be glorified in all in my life
