A Permanent Vacation

While reflecting on my time so far spent in Jamaica, reality came crashing in. Our time on earth is coming to an end; even faster than we expected it. I got a taste of the two extremes, paradise on one hand, and corruption on the other.

Sin governs corruption, on the other hand, paradise is visible and experiential. Paradise lies in the natural beauty of our surroundings and in the minds of men to do and to create the unimaginable. I got a front seat look into corruption and my thoughts about the subject was quickly confirmed. Corruption starts from the top.

Vacationing here in Jamaica creates an atmosphere of comfort, especially when driving through the different towns and areas. Being totally encircled by water and greenery cultivates tranquility. But, understanding corruption to every extent is a must. Even where our children are concerned, because some are purposing in their hearts, that they will not live past 25 years old.

Saints, there is coming a day of permanent vacation, a time when “…. God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more dearth, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away,” Revelations 21:4. Our permanent vacation is in Paradise which is Heaven.

God Bless.
