"God so loved the world"
There is one word in the Holy Bible that is an adverb, it describes an action that express God's love which is extreme in this little tiny word with only two letters modify the verb, "LOVE" In John 3:16. This word is, "SO".
"For God "SO" loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, so that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
The Merriam Webster dictionary defines the word, "So" as "extreme" or to such a great extent.
God love for us is deeper than deep, higher than high. It is fathomless and limitless.
God's love knows no boundaries; the universe cannot contain this type of love which is beyond human
comprehension.
I do believe eternity is necessary for God to continuously shower us with this greatest love. There is no word in human History or vocabularies to explains God's love it is "so" great.
As a matter of fact from cover to cover, from the contents to the maps in the back of your Bible there is no explanation as to why God loves us "so" much.
What the Bible do say is that God's love is an everlasting love.
“The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying: 'I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness'” (Jeremiah 31:3).
So as you read this blog remember that the The lover of our soul, loves is "so" much and his love is from everlasting to everlasting.
So great and so important is the first commandment,
"Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind."
That It is important for us to now more than ever, begin to appreciate and reciprocate our God given love towards the true and living God who is ever-loving.
Dear heavenly father may we birth a deeper understanding of your everlasting love towards us that you sacrifice you one and only son Jesus Christ.
Amen.
