Good morning Beloved,
I ask you this question today
Will you be made whole?
Let us look at a biblical account
John 5
1 After this there was a feast of the Jews; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
2 Now there is at Jerusalem by the sheep market a pool, which is called in the Hebrew tongue Bethesda, having five porches.
3 In these lay a great multitude of impotent folk, of blind, halt, withered, waiting for the moving of the water.
4 For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.
5 And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.
6 When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?
7 The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.
8 Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.
9 And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.
Let us note the following:
The man had the condition for 38 years
Though he had been in a place where healing took place, he could not receive his healing
God has a set appointed time to release our miracle. He has not forgotten us
When the man had an encounter with Jesus, the text says Jesus being aware of the length of time which he had the condition asked him a question.
Why would Jesus ask such a question? I listened to the Lord and the answer would certainly be to stir faith.
When we have remained in a condition for many many years. It will begin to change our view of ourselves, life and others if not rooted and grounded in God's love.
He probably had been disappointed so many times asking others to take him for his miracle and even bore much unkindness as many pushed past him and received their miracle, unconcerned about the man.
From the Strongs The Greek word used for whole is:
3650 hólos (a primitive adjective and the root of the English term "whole") – properly, wholly, where all the parts are present and working as a whole – i.e. as the total, which is greater than the mere sum of the parts. This factor is especially significant in metaphorical contexts or those focusing on the spiritual plane
After we have waited a while God doesn't just bless us with one miracle he makes us WHOLE.
Jesus didn't ask the man if he would be healed but if he would be WHOLE.
The Websters definition of whole is as follows:
whole
1 a complete amount or sum : a number, aggregate, or totality lacking no part, member, or element
2 something constituting a complex unity : a coherent system or organization of parts fitting or working together as one
God is not just interested in giving you a miracle for one area of your life, he wants to make you whole and complete you in Jesus name
I pray today God will make you whole no matter how long you have waited God will make you whole.
I have proved that after you have waited for a season. God will bless you in proportion to your waiting. He will even add years for you.
I stir faith in you today. Position yourselves to receive your miracle today.
Will you be made whole?
Father we thank you for not just a single miracle but completing us and making us whole in Jesus name. Amen
Walk good in Christ
Till we meet again
Pastor J
