Broken Glass
The thought of broken glass came about while praying one morning. I saw myself standing in a room with broken glass all around me. Determined to get out, I started walking on them. Thanks be to God I came through it but with a bloody foot bottom.
“Many are the affliction of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all,” Psalm 34:19. The meaning of broken glass is multi-faceted, some of which are positive, some are negative. As I did my research on this term, I gravitated to the meaning of good fortune. This phrase symbolizes prosperity and the fact that joyful times are ahead.
Saints of God, the Spirit of God interpreted it this way: we are going through a time of uncertainty with many obstacles to hinder us from moving forward. 2 Timothy 1:12, “for the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that He is able to keep that which I have committed unto Him against that day.” There is a day we will overcome, if we stay steadfast and unmovable.
“Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him ….,” Job 13:15. In verse 13 of 2 Timothy 1, the scripture says, “hold fast ….” This means to faithfully keep, to grasp, to cling, even when we face difficulties or oppositions. The Lord said to me, the bloody feet signify walking through the tough times we face or will face. It signifies victory over the enemy’s attacks. Our God is able!
God Bless.
